2024 Huddle up!

conference information

What?

A statewide gathering to discuss best practices for Wisconsin recovery residences and to network with residence operators and advocates from around the state.


The event this year will focus on a regional and statewide advocacy efforts for recovery housing with morning speaker sessions and round table discussions engaging attendees on this topic. Other speaker sessions will cover topics including contingency management for recovery housing, best practices and resources for recovery house operations, finding appropriate recovery residence properties, peer support in house managerial roles, and programs designed for transitioning residents to independent living. 


The WASH board of directors and staff will be available for questions about policy and certification.


NEW THIS YEAR: We will be hosting a Policy and Procedure writing workshop the Sunday before the Huddle Up day of programming. This session will cost $250 for registration (the Huddle Up is free). Contact tom@washcommunity.org for more details about the workshop.
